Parkour Classes in Katikati
Structured Tuesday parkour classes for children aged 5 and over.
Tuesday classes
- Ages 5–7 — Tuesday, 3:30–4:30 pm.
- Ages 8+ — Tuesday, 4:45–5:45 pm.
Venue: Sea Scouts building, behind Dave Hume Pool, Katikati.
Learn to move with confidence
Age-appropriate challenges, games and structured skill development introduce jumping, landing, balance, vaulting, climbing and creative movement.
Activities are adapted to suit different experience levels so participants can progress from a safe and achievable starting point.
A class suited to their stage
Ages 5–7
Playful foundations, safe movement habits, confidence, listening and enjoyment.
Ages 8+
Progressive challenges, movement combinations and age-appropriate decision-making for beginners and returning participants.
Safe progression, not pressure
Classes prioritise controlled progressions, environmental awareness and the ability to test and adapt a challenge before committing.
There is not one perfect solution to every movement challenge; the goal is safe, effective and creative movement.
Fees and payment
Katikati membership is NZD $99 per month, invoiced through Hnry.
The full cancellation, summer-holiday billing pause, missed-session and payment conditions are contained in the draft Terms and Conditions, pending approval and publication.

Western Bay catchment
Katikati classes for surrounding communities
The Katikati classes are positioned for families from Katikati and the surrounding western Bay, including Waihi, Waihi Beach, Athenree, Bowentown, Tanners Point, Tahawai, Aongatete, Ōmokoroa, Whakamarama and Te Puna.
All Tuesday sessions are held at the Sea Scouts building behind Dave Hume Pool in Katikati. Class availability is confirmed directly by Evolution Parkour Academy.
Frequently asked questions
Is previous experience required?
No previous parkour or gymnastics experience is required to enquire.
What should participants bring?
Participants should wear suitable athletic clothing and closed athletic shoes and bring a water bottle.
What happens if a class is missed?
EPA does not offer make-up sessions for missed classes. Cancellation requires two weeks’ written notice under the attached draft Terms and Conditions, subject to final policy approval.
